SFC and Searchlight Pictures kick off a special partnership series celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Searchlight Pictures. The four-part anniversary event series will showcase one feature film per month from June to September. The second highlighted film is the independent Academy Award® winning documentary film about the 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival, Summer of Soul (...Or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised) on Saturday, July 20th at The Autry Museum of the American West in Griffith Park.

Her father, Sly Stone, built the blocks of her funk foundation and passed on the love for the brilliance of “everyday people.” When Novena launched her DJ career, it quickly took off, fueled by her global perspective, lifelong love of sharing the music she loves with people, her infectious energy and ability to read a room. She now reads the radio room as the Host of KCRW's flagship show, Morning Becomes Eclectic, and DJs events regularly, including collaborations with Hollywood Bowl, LACMA, Netflix, Apple Music, California African American Museum, The Academy Museum, Dublab, Stones Throw Records, Red Bull, Ace Hotel, Amoeba Records and many others. She is also the Co-Host of Season 4 of KCRW's Music Podcast, Lost Notes.
