Will Rogers State Historic Park is a California State Historic Park in the Santa Monica Mountains, in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles. The 186-acre park was established in 1944 to preserve the estate of American humorist Will Rogers, including his ranch and the surrounding countryside.

Will Rogers State Historic Park invites you to their FREE community screening of E.T the Extra Terrestrial! They are proud to welcome the Pacific Palisades community back to the park this year with a special evening under the stars on Saturday, May 9th celebrating resilience, togetherness, and the enduring spirit of the neighborhood. Following the challenges brought by the 2025 Palisades Fire, the park is opening its grounds once again for families, friends, and neighbors to reconnect in a place that has long been a gathering point for the community.

TIME: Doors 6:30pm | Movie 8:00pm
PARKING: Parking included with admission. Parking Lot Entrance is at the intersection of Will Rogers State Park Rd. and Sunset Blvd.
CHAIRS: Guests may bring low chairs (max 6 inches off the ground). Chairs with legs must be placed in the designated “Chair Section” along the perimeter of blanket seating. Taller chairs are only permitted at the far edges to avoid blocking views. SFC staff will be available if you need assistance.
IMPORTANT NOTES:

– On-site food trucks will be available.
