Street Food Cinema is such an awesome event- whether for a picnic movie night with friends or a romantic date. I only attended twice this year (once in Eagle Rock and once in Pasadena) and both experiences were outstanding! Movie options throughout the season are amazing, the parks are beautifully kept and the sound and screen are set up exceptionally well so you don’t miss a thing!
The food trucks differ from event to event but they’re all your standard fare, the Mexican-style ones usually have the best kind of food although the lines can be a little long.
Definitely check out a Street Food Cinema screening for something different! I’m totally buying passes next year.

How have I not been going to every single one of these? What is wrong with me?
Went to the first one and will be attending every possible showing in the future. Fun live music, great selection of food and drinks. Awesome kettle corn. Great seats, reasonable pricing, easy parking, not crowded, fun host, top notch projection and sound.
IN LOVE!

Grab a blanket, some snacks, your furry or non-fury friend and head over to a local park for some live music and a movie!
Street Food Cinema event is one of my favorite things to do in Los Angeles during the hot summer months. I have been to several of their events throughout the years and I always have a wonderful time. They have food trucks lined up with tons of variety. I suggest getting there a bit early for parking and to get a decent spot to see the movie.
Some tips: Remember to bring cash because some of the venues only accept cash for parking (most are free.) Also, bring a jacket because it gets cold as the night goes on.

My first experience was a double feature of Back To The Future 1 & 2 (score!) at Pasadena. It’s pretty awesome to watch a movie in the park with fellow BTTF fans! It kind of felt like a drive thru movie. They have speakers set up on each side of the park so you can be fully immersed in the movie.
There were about a dozen different food trucks, but expect to wait in line for an hour or so unless you arrive super early. The lines are beyond crazy an hour prior to the movie. I ended up choosing a food truck that wasn’t well known and was able to get my food within 20 minutes. Unfortunately, I forgot the name of the truck. You can also bring your own food as well. You can bring in alcohol (YAY), so drink responsibly! If you bring chairs, remember to bring the ones low to the ground as they will refuse the foldable camping chairs.
All in all it was a great experience. Just remember when you go, be kind and pick up after yourself. 🙂

If you have not had the opportunity to attend a Street Food Cinema, you need to make it your business to attend one soon. Lots of Fun, Food, and the music was on point. It was an opportunity for friend and family to enjoy a movie and good food at a little of nothing. Fun, Fun, Fun!!!

The whole evening was fantastic. Delicious food from a fleet of food trucks, a classic movie, live music, and a festival-like buzz with families and couples and friends and dogs all over the place! This was a treat for our trip to LA!

We came all the way from Finland to watch Gremlins and we just loved the whole experience!!! It was awesome just sit and watch the mountains and watch people, how each of them had their own special way to enjoy the event. All the different chairs people had with them, coolers, pillows and blankets and all the dogs. Loved how people were allowed to bring dogs, we petted so many dogs, cause we were missing our own dogs back at home.
Now back in Finland and seeing posts from street food cinema it makes us miss it so we just had to write this review cause I think this must have been the best experience on our vacation in California. Most definitely gonna come again some day and enjoy it then as well  Thank you Street Food Cinema!!

Loved the Purple Rain screening! ☔ Such amazing energy last night. The sound could have been a little louder on the movie. The DJ was on point. They should use DJ’s more often.
